To extend the Senior Blind Empowerment Program services to eight new communities in northeast Minnesota. The creation of empowerment groups will serve as a way for seniors with visual impairments to better cope with issues of isolation, mobility, and loss.

To increase nutrition, socialization, and resource services provided to individuals and families in the Deer River area.

North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity, Virginia


To offer hands-on experience in the building trades to area high school students through Habitat for Humanity.

North Shore Horizons, Inc., Two Harbors


To support the development of transitional and long-term supportive housing to individuals and families experiencing domestic or sexual violence and chronic homelessness in Lake and Cook counties.

To assist the DLEF in offering financial support to arts/culture, beautification/ environment, economic development, education, human services, and parks/recreation initiatives in the Duluth community.
