On October 13, 2009 the Northland Foundation, with support from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation, hosted nearly 140 nonprofit staff and board members to a dialogue designed to provide nonprofit leaders with up-to-date information and proactive strategies in an environment of decreasing revenues and increasing demand. Presenter Biographies
Peter Hutchinson, President, Bush Foundation
Peter C. Hutchinson is president of the St. Paul-based Bush Foundation. Prior to coming to the Foundation in 2007, Hutchinson co-founded the Public Strategies Group. He also has served as the vice president for external affairs and chairman of the Dayton Hudson Foundation, commissioner of finance for the State of Minnesota, superintendent of the Minneapolis Public Schools, and as a deputy mayor in Minneapolis.
Kathy Keeley, Principal, The Keeley Group
Kathy Keeley has spent more than 25 years as a social entrepreneur working in economic development, finance, and performance management. She founded The Keeley Group in 1999 and has since completed strategic planning, project design, business planning, and executive coaching projects for more than 100 nonprofits, foundations, government organizations, and small businesses across the United States and internationally.
