WELCOME

Fiscal year 2006/2007 was a year of exciting new developments that created ripples of positive change across the seven-county area.

We officially launched the Minnesota Thrive Initiative to promote the healthy social and emotional development of our state’s youngest children. 

We conducted an in-depth civic engagement study of people age 55+ to discover what keeps them active in the areas of work, lifelong learning, and volunteerism.

We embarked on a pilot program to support local social enterprise – mission-related businesses that help nonprofits generate earned income. And, we opened a social enterprise of our own, Northland Village, an assisted living facility.
